  2. This file contains clip art for the shareware drawing program: 
  3. PC-Draft II. You cannot use these images with any other drawing 
  4. program. To get your copy of PC-Draft II, look on the same bulletin 
  5. board or shareware distribution source that you found this file.

  7. PC-Draft II is a high resolution pixel oriented drawing and
  8. graphing utility, which is designed to facilitate a variety of
  9. drawing and drafting needs.  Some of PC-Draft II's features:
  10.  
  11.       o        You can produce drawings up to 1280 by 700 dots
  12.                using IBM's color graphic adaptor high resolution
  13.                graphics mode (640 x 200 dots per screen). Such a
  14.                drawing will more than fill an 8-1/2 x 11 inch
  15.                printed output (at 150 dots per inch resolution).

  17.       o        Built-in functions allow you to draw circles,
  18.                lines, boxes, arcs and curves; draw bar, line and
  19.                pie graphs; create patterns with which to fill
  20.                areas; cut and paste objects and save objects to
  21.                files for later use.

  23.       o        PC-Draft is both menu driven and command driven --
  24.                all drawing commands may be selected from the
  25.                menus or may be entered by a single keystroke
  26.                command such as [C] to draw a circle or [L] for
  27.                line.

  29.       o        You can zoom in to precisely edit one pixel at a
  30.                time.

  32.       o        You can record graphic keyboard macros saved in
  33.                files for later playback and for animation
  34.                effects.

  36.       o        You can load and edit fonts.

  38.       o        You can print your drawings on a variety of
  39.                printers including those compatible with IBM and
  40.                Epson Dot matrix, HP Laserjet+, and HP DeskJet
  41.                printers. Also you can save the output to the
  42.                printer in a file for later batch printing.

  44.       o        You can save portions of the screen or full
  45.                drawings in GEM .IMG file format. These can then
  46.                be directly imported into such Desk Top Publishing
  47.                programs as Ventura Publisher and WordPerfect 5.0.

  49.       o        Drawing and Pic files may be saved in compressed
  50.                format to save disk space.

  52.       o        You can set up to ten place markers anywhere in
  53.                the drawing to jump to.

  55.       o        Drawing grids are displayable at any spacing with
  56.                optional "grid-lock" (Snap).

  58.       o        A pop-up status panel shows x and y cursor posi-
  59.                tion, position of the screen window in respect to
  60.                the full drawing area, the current pattern, the
  61.                current cursor increment value, and more.

  63.       o        An undo function repairs damage done by your last
  64.                command.

  66.       o        A preview function displays the entire drawing on
  67.                the screen.

  69.       o        A graphics presentation language called PIX
  70.                performs all PC-Draft II commands from a script
  71.                you write without displaying any cursor or menu
  72.                interaction. PIX allows you to create animated
  73.                sequences of: loading screens, drawing forms and
  74.                graphs and adding text and more.

  76.       o        Another program: CAPTURE.COM allows you to capture
  77.                screen images from other programs (both text and
  78.                graphic screens), to be loaded into PC-Draft for
  79.                enhancement and printing.

  157.                PC-Draft II is compatible with the IBM PC, XT, and
  158.                AT and "true compatible" microcomputers with at
  159.                least 384k of memory and with MS-DOS or PC-DOS
  160.                versions 2.0 or later.  An IBM or compatible Color
  161.                Graphics Display adapter is required.  PC-Draft II
  162.                performs direct access of the display buffer at
  163.                address B8000 hex.  PC-Draft II will not work with
  164.                monochrome displays or foreign display interface
  165.                boards such as Hercules. (However, it will work
  166.                with one of the shareware CGA emulators such as
  167.                HGCIBM or SIMCGA. Look for them on your BBS.)
